Shaykh Abdullah Smith Abu Zahirah was born and raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He graduated with honors from the College of Hadith and Islamic Studies at the Islamic University of Madinah in Saudi Arabia in the year 2006. He was the former Imam/Director of Religious Affairs at the Islamic Center of Daytona Beach, FL, in Columbia, MO, Houston, TX, and Kissimmee, FL. He has served as an imam for the last 20 years in different centers around the USA. He is currently the Imam of Masjid An-Noor (Muslim Center of Middlesex County MCMC) which is located in Piscataway, NJ.
