Shaykh Abdullah Oduro is a Texas native, born in Arlington and raised in Houston. While working as a surgical technologist, he embraced Islam in 1997. Just two years later, he was admitted to the prestigious Islamic University of Al-Madinah in Saudi Arabia, where he studied diverse disciplines under numerous prominent scholars. After graduating from the Faculty of Islamic Law in 2007, he went on to complete his memorization of the Quran the following year. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with premier Islamic institutions including the Yaqeen Institute, Bayyinah, and KnewU. He currently serves the Dallas community as the Imam of the Islamic Center of Coppell.
